MEET THE PERSON BEHIND THE LENS
Hey there!
I'm Luna Abdul-Rahim, a 30-something photographer from northern Delaware. Growing up, I always felt a deep appreciation for family, love, and the simple moments that life offers. My life took a new turn when I became a young, single mom to my first amazing little boy, Koda. It was a challenging yet transformative experience that taught me responsibility, strength, and the importance of cherishing every moment. At 26, I took a big leap—moving away from home for the first time after a year of long-distance with my now-husband, who serves on a submarine in the Navy. A little over a year later, we welcomed our second son, Malachi, into the world. Life as a military spouse has its unique challenges, from deployments to long stretches apart, but through it all, I’ve learned resilience, grace, and the power of standing proud in the face of adversity.
Photography has been a passion for as long as I can remember. For years, I dabbled with cameras, capturing moments of my life, but it wasn’t until I became a mom that I truly understood the magic of preserving memories through a lens. The ability to freeze a moment in time, to tell a story without words, is something I cherish deeply. Through photography, I've finally found my calling—a way to connect, to create, and to help others preserve the moments that matter most. Now, as a wife, mom, and photographer, I am proud to pursue my passion and share it with others. Every photoshoot is an opportunity to capture not just an image, but an emotion, a memory, and a story. It’s an honor to be a part of your journey, helping you preserve your most cherished moments for years to come.
